A top travel destination in Arizona, Phoenix is a busy city smack in the middle of the desert. While being pretty toasty, the environment is overall unique, and the rugged nature beckons. Trails and iconic outdoor features lie just beyond the chaos, and are an excellent incentive to spend a long vacation here. Typically known for lavish resorts, an extended stay may seem less than enticing, but then there’s the price, and surprising list of amenities offered by some. Strangely, all of our picks on this list are within the Extended Stay America chain (we didn’t plan this and it almost seems that’s the only choice!). Regardless, a light on the wallet stay in Phoenix awaits.
