Consider this geodesic dome a completely fresh and out-of-the-box take on the average treehouse. Unusual shapes and interestingly cut windows offer glimpses into the natural environment, in the most fun and unpredictable way. Sleep under the stars, and watch the kids marvel and wonder. Lots of wood was used to construct the space, giving it that honest treehouse feel, but an abundance of modern touches, such as the mint-colored cone fireplace, and various art pieces really give it that contemporary touch. A lot of live-edge craftsmanship has been incorporated into this home, from the furniture to the striking cabinets in the humble and adorable kitchen. There’s something quite comforting about this warm treehouse near the lake, perhaps partially because it was built mostly out of home sawed wood. That’s pretty special! The porch wraps around three sides of the home, for optimal views, which is made even better by being elevated multiple feet off of the ground. In the summer, enjoy paddle boarding at Rock Lake, and in the winter strap on your skis or snowshoes!
The entire dwelling is seemingly made out of light knotted wood, and this attribute gives it an incredibly naturalistic, relaxed feel. Certain parts of the home are somewhat contemporary, such as the kitchen, with subtle yet bold cabinetry, and upgraded appliances.
