Atlantis Bahamas, Bahamas (Prices & Photos)
Cross over the bridge from Nassau, and you’ll reach Paradise Island, a stretch of Bahamian land that houses one of the more iconic luxury resorts, Atlantis. Broken up into different swanky towers, the sandcastle-esque haven is surrounded by tropical lagoons and water features housing sharks, turtles and colorful fish. Inside, sea accents like massive clams, aquariums and intricate chandeliers feel like a majestic underwater kingdom. The water park is a masterpiece of its own, and you don’t have to be a guest at the resort to purchase a ticket for the day. A mesh of tropical landscape encapsulates waterslides that shoot thrill seekers through spectacles like an underwater tube surrounded by sharks. Probably one of the longest lazy rivers trails around the park, and is complete with rapids and multiple entry points— a water elevator lets you lounge all day without getting out of your tube.

On Dubai’s beautiful manmade island, The Palm, Atlantis stuns with similar aesthetics and features of Atlantis in the Bahamas. You can dine surrounded by beautiful aquariums full of fish, explore all of the marine attractions on site or dive into the massive waterpark. But if you book an underwater suite, you’ll obviously have the best views in the house, from floor-to-ceiling windows that peer toward all the splendor that lies under the ocean’s surface. One on one dolphin encounters and other aquatic experiences are included when you opt to stay underwater.
Radisson Blu Hotel Berlin, Berlin (Prices & Photos)
This Radisson Blu features a marvelous 264,000-gallon aquarium in its common area, and the gigantic cylinder loaded with thousands of fish suspends over the bar. Polished and refined with a hint of Swedish style, the Berlin location is excellent, being close to great sightseeing. The cherry on top is the impressive on-site health club.

On Tanzania’s gorgeous Pemba Island resides a lovely tropical hotel surrounding by stellar snorkeling spots, and that’s enough to make for an awesome aquatic vacation. But guests can also opt to lodge underwater, while an upper deck is at your disposal for leaping straight into the blue ocean. Stargazing is a “not to be missed” experience in addition to all the island highlights.

You’ll have to strap on your scuba gear and dive into a lagoon at Key Largo, Florida to reach this “cottage” on the ocean floor. It’s a cozy, once in a lifetime experience. The little lodge offers comfy places to snuggle up, windows of course, for sea creature watching, hot showers and even offers pizza delivery. Some divers stay for a few hours, while others book the full 24 hours —either way, it’s a super unique diving experience.

Located close to the ocean’s edge, this Hong Kong Marriott destination has a nice blend of kid/adult appeal. As soon as you walk in, a massive aquarium pillar extends to the top of the sleek lobby, and throughout the commons areas are interactive digital sea life displays that react to movement. Rooms have a few fun styles from a panda forest to submarine life. Since the hotel has worked to take a more “green” approach in its design and materials, outside is loaded with lush foliage, especially around the spectacular pool area.

The Utter Inn is a cozy option in Sweden with an undeniable charm. A boat will take you out to your hut, which sits in the middle of a lovely lake in Vasteras. There’s no electricity, only gas to power the lights and heat—it’s welcomed disconnection.
