People travel from all throughout the Midwest and beyond to experience the family fun of the Wisconsin Dells each year. I have fond memories of visiting the Dells with my parents as a kid and having so many exciting and fun ways to play. Water parks are a big part of the draw to the Dells, and there are many to choose from depending on the season and age of your kids.
Here are some of the best water parks in the Wisconsin Dells to help you plan your next family getaway.
Noah’s Ark is a top Wisconsin Dells attraction that has been welcoming guests since 1979. Today, the water park offers 51 waterslides, two lazy rivers, two wave pools, and other attractions. The water park spans 70 acres and is known for being a very safe and clean way to have a water park-theme vacation. In addition to the splash-worth attractions, Noah’s Ark is home to multiple food and drink options, including a poolside bar, Dole Whip Oasis, Mexican cantina, and saloon-style restaurant. There are season passes available and discounts for Wisconsin residents. Opening day for the water park tends to be around Memorial Day each year.
Mt. Olympus has an indoor water park in the Wisconsin Dells area that is open between mid-September and mid-May. There is also a new indoor expansion area that is open year-round. The outdoor water park at this venue offers America’s first rotating water slide, tidal pool, and multi-person raft slides and rides. There is overnight lodging available at Mt. Olympus, as well as an outdoor theme park with rollercoaster rides, go-kart tracks, a kiddie train, and more. Other things you can check out here for entertainment are putt-putt golf, bumper cars, a rock climbing wall, and an arcade. Lodging is available in stand-alone buildings at the resort and on the Wisconsin Dells Strip. You can also plan a camping adventure here with a tent site or cabin.
At the Chula Vista Resort, families can enjoy a water park resort with 200,000 square feet of water parks. The resort has an excellent steakhouse, a world-class spa, and an 18-hole golf course too.
