Our first spa resort recommendation is the Kimpton Amara Resort & Spa, which is relaxed, artsy, and social. The resort is steps from Uptown Sedona and all the fun things to do but still a tranquil getaway along the Oak Creek Canyon. When you stay here, you can join a morning yoga session, play lawn games with old and new friends, sip cocktails by the pool, and marvel at the stars when the sun goes down. The resort’s spa specializes in Rain Dance massages with lavender, sage, and rosemary oils, as well as facials and spa packages that help you de-stress and savor some “me time.” Resort guests also enjoy dining at the bright and authentic SaltRock Southwest Kitchen, which serves seafood and Southwest fare on a scenic outdoor patio. Package deals at the resort offer daily breakfast at SaltRock and $100 daily spa credit.
The Enchantment Resort spans 70 acres of beautiful terrain and is surrounded by the famous red rocks of Sedona. This is a unique resort that offers exclusive spa privileges at Mii Amo spa. This spa has its own accommodations too, but you can also stay at the Enchantment Resort to take advantage of all the resort’s perks and also use the spa. This is a good option for families since kids are welcome at this resort. In fact, parents traveling with kids can let little ones ages four to 12 enjoy Camp Coyote while they get a break with spa treatments. There’s even a pet program here that costs $100 per pet under 75 pounds and includes pet amenities like plush beds, bowls, and a guide to dog-friendly hiking trails near the resort. Play a game of golf at Seven Canyons golf course while staying at this resort, dine at one of the fresh and delicious onsite restaurants, or go hiking and biking from here on Sedona’s awesome trails.
This luxury resort has 221 rooms and suites that have locally inspired décor and amazing views of the surrounding landscape. The Hilton’s rooms have fireplaces, mini-fridges, patios, balconies, and plenty of space. Meanwhile, the suites have extra comfort and luxury for guests. Dogs under 75 pounds are welcome here too. The onsite spa, Eforea Spa, spans 25,000 feet and uses only organic ingredients from the local region. It has seven private treatment rooms, an outdoor heated lap pool, nail salon, exercise classes, and a fitness center too. There’s an 18-hole, par-71 golf course at this resort, and the Village of Oak Creek Country Club is less than a mile away too. For dining, this resort has an onsite restaurant that serves all meals, as well as a fun bar and poolside café.
Los Abrigados also has an on-site spa and lots to do for visitors to Sedona. The rooms here have queen-size beds, partial kitchens, balconies or patios, and other amenities. In addition to the spa with massage services and a sauna/steam room, other onsite activities include bocce ball, a fitness center, children’s club, game room, basketball, yoga, tennis, playground, and more. There are two great dining options onsite here: the family-friendly Spoke & Wheel Tavern and Eatery and the Timo Wood Oven Wine Bar.
The Poco Diablo Resort offers guest rooms that are both elegant and affordable, as well as a full-service spa in Sedona. Get a massage, facial, or mani-pedi at the spa after playing a game of tennis or working out at the fitness center. This spa uses eco-friendly and organic products and offers scrubs, wraps, hair, and wedding services too. There’s also an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool spa here, a nine-hole golf course, and bikes available for rent. TC’s Bar and Grill serves all meals in a laid-back atmosphere, and the concierge can help arrange tours and adventures in the area.
Another great spa resort is the Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa, which offers regenerative services that range from Ayurvedic treatments to massages, wraps, reflexology, and more. Couples’ massages are also a popular option here for 60 or 90 minutes. This is another pet-friendly resort for guests who don’t like to leave their pups behind. Reds Restaurant is onsite and blends American comfort food with healthy fare with local wines and live music too.
As we mentioned while describing the Enchantment Resort above, the Mii Amo spa has its own accommodations for guests, which includes 16 spa casita guest rooms and suites. This is a destination spa with rooms that have private patios and balconies, spa-amenity bathrooms, and deep soaking tubs. Some rooms even have outdoor showers, whirlpools, fireplaces, and private massage areas. The spa’s treatments include many Native American-inspired therapies, mindfulness and meditation programs, skin care treatments, and programs that help you connect with your spirit. Meanwhile, the Mii Amo Café offers healthy and wholesome foods with organic ingredients that come from local sources. This resort’s facilities are open to guests who are age 16 years or older.
Last but not least is L’Auberge de Sedona, a red rock country spa resort with luxury cottages, open-air showers, large private decks, and lots of fun package deals to choose from. L’Apothecary is the onsite spa and features local botanicals, healing treatments, and herbal blends. Overall, this resort has 62 luxury cottages and 21 lodge-style guest rooms, as well as the fine dining restaurant of Cress, Etch Kitchen and Bar for all meals, and 89Agave for Sonoran-style Mexican food.
