If you’ve ever stayed at the typical run-of-the-mill RV resort, with an OK bathhouse, gravel sites, and maybe a picnic table or a fire ring, you might have a hard time envisioning what a luxury RV resort is like. The resort doesn’t necessarily have to be the focal point of the vacation, because the surroundings are usually the main attraction in the first place. But what if the RV resort itself is what brought you to an area? Well, this is the case with The Regatta on Grand luxury RV resort in Grove, Oklahoma. Two passionate campers decided to add those craved luxury comforts to the RVing and camping experience. No longer do you have to choose between the two. Stay in the comfort of your own fifth wheel or motorhome, while being immersed in a lake-side pampering experience.
In one moment, you could be walking along a waterside hiking trail or playing sand volleyball, and in the next, hopping into a limo to enjoy a glamorous ride through the area. Yeah, we love the combination too! The activities are abundant, further solidifying the Regatta as a destination. Cuddle up for outdoor movies, peacefully skim across the scenic like waters on a paddleboard or kayak, or maybe get your heart pumping on jet skis. Some of the amenities will require an additional fee.
What is any luxury resort without phenomenal drinks? There are many curated cocktail experiences at The Regatta on Grand. Are you a margarita person? Well you are in luck! Because at 5 o’clock on the nose, a margarita cart makes its way through the resort, handing out free margaritas, while playing Jimmy Buffett’s famous song, It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere. Talk about a great way to kick off the evening, especially when lounging by the luxurious pool area. The pool deck is an elevated peaceful escape, that overlooks the water. Guests will also be able to enjoy a bourbon bar, where they can get a finely prepared cocktail with the right balance of ingredients.
The food is an experience all on its own, with menu options that tailor to both parents and kids. Yes, kids can get basics like burgers and chicken tenders! I know mom and dad, you are breathing a sigh of relief. But there are fine artesian foods to enjoy for those with a more refined palate, such as wagyu meatballs and a harmonious goat cheese strawberry salad for dinner, and mushroom Florentine omelettes or cinnamon pecan crusted French toast for breakfast. Beautiful flavors are blended within various delicious cakes, such as blueberry and lemon. Fine dining, while camping, does it get any better?
But to bring things back to basics for all of those camping enthusiasts out there, the sites for your camper or motorhome are absolutely phenomenal. Easy to access spaces vary in type, from interior, lakeside, to traditional. Being that the Regatta is on its own private peninsula, every motorhome is going to have phenomenal views, and optimal proximity to all of the lavish amenities. Basically, this is a somewhat secluded resort, that kind of feels as if it’s on its very own island. Pretty cool stuff! So if you’re looking to up your RV game, The Regatta on Grand in Grove, Oklahoma is waiting.
