Many people who live in areas subject to chilly winter temperatures prefer to take off to somewhere warm as soon as it begins to get cold, returning only when the warm weather does. Referred to as “snowbirds,” one of the most popular ways to do it is in an RV. Of course, if you’re spending months away from home, you’ll want to park at a place where you’ll have plenty of amenities while enjoying that sunshine too, with these options being some of the very best.
Pechanga RV Resort - Temecula, California
Located in Temecula, prime Southern California wine country just 90 minutes from Los Angeles, this RV resort was voted the Top RV Campground in North America by the readers of Motorhome Magazine. A stay at Pechanga will put you at the heart of it all for everything from wine tasting and hiking to antique shopping, and there’s plenty to do right on-site.
