When you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the New Braunfels area of Texas, consider a unique treehouse for your group instead of standard, ordinary accommodations. The Redwood Tree Haus is a fun spot for up to eight guests and has two bedrooms and one bathroom.
Here’s what you need to know about this getaway destination to plan your trip!
What really makes this treehouse special is the shared pool that is around the four treehouses on this property. The Redwood Treehouse is one of these structures, and there is also a lodge and two suites onsite for overnight guests. The pool is not heated but open year-around. It has 17 swim-up barstools and both a shallow end and a deeper end.
Meanwhile, the interior space has all the comforts of home and also a large concrete tree in the middle of the structure. The Redwood Tree Haus has a galleria-style kitchen/dining/living room and is equipped with the essentials you need to cook meals. Here you’ll find a fridge, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, a microwave, stove, oven, and coffeemaker. You can get a restful night’s sleep in this treehouse, which has a king-size bed in one bedroom, a queen-size bed in the second bedroom, and twin beds and a fold-out sofa bed in the living room.
When you stay in this treehouse, you’ll be in a very convenient location that is between two and four miles from Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Gruene & Gruene Hall, wineries, shops, and restaurants. The Guadalupe River at Lake Dunlap is just a short walk away and where you’ll have access to a 60-foot dock and more than 200 feet of waterfront property. There’s a private boat ramp here, so bring your own watercraft and fishing poles to head out onto the water.
Back at the treehouse, kids love playing on the miniature playground, and adults are welcome to bring their own beverages out to the pool for a bit of fun and refreshment. Families love the vibe here and look forward to coming back again in the future for getaways that are fun for all ages. However, this Airbnb property is not available for parties or events. Other things that this place offers to guests are Wi-Fi, TV free parking, air conditioning, heating, outdoor furniture, a BBQ grill, and fire pit. Each of the rental units on the property are full of character and offer opportunities to make new friends with the other guests staying in them. But remember that the pool area is a shared space and that there may be other people hanging out when you arrive and when you want to use the pool as well.
This is a pet-friendly treehouse for dogs that weigh 25 pounds or less. You’ll need to get the host’s approval before bringing your dog and pay a $30 pet fee for up to two dogs that you bring along for the adventure. There are guest pet rules that you’ll need to abide by if you want to bring your pups. Learn more about this property and book your dates on Airbnb.
