It first opened in 1905 and was modeled as a cross between a Norwegian villa and a Swiss chalet. The hotel is elegantly charming and has a very unique location in the park. It offers luxurious amenities to guests, including in-room dining and full bell service. There are 78 rooms and suites at the hotel. The hotel suites each have their own unique theme and décor. Yavapai Lodge

The Yavapai Lodge is a hotel with a prime Grand Canyon location. It is at the South Rim and just a short walk or bus ride from the South Rim. There is also a market, bank, and post office nearby. This lodge has cozy seating areas, an onsite restaurant that serves all meals, and a tavern for grabbing a drink. It is a pet-friendly hotel that also has electric car charging stations. When you visit the Grand Canyon, you can book a stay at the Maswik Lodge. It was originally a motor lodge built in 1927, featuring cabins and hotel rooms. For adventurous travelers, Phantom Ranch is an epic place to stay near the Grand Canyon. There is overnight lodging and a campground at Phantom Ranch. This is such a special place to stay because it is nestled at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. The only way that you can get here is by reaching the lodge on foot, by mule, or by rafting the Colorado River. Expect rustic accommodations in male and female dormitories and in cabins for two to 10 guests each. At the time this was written, Phantom Ranch was open with limited services, so check the official hotel website to confirm offerings and availability. You can make reservations for overnight mule rides and hiker cabins at Phantom Ranch. There is also the Phantom Ranch Canteen, which is open for breakfast and dinner.
