There are lots of different and amazing ways to experience the Florida Keys, but one of our favorite ways is on the small and secluded island of Duck Key with a stay at Hawks Cay Resort. It’s a fun place to be for aquatic adventures, coastal living, and amazing food. Couples come here for romantic getaways, and families plan resort vacations here too.

At Hawks Cay, you’ll find 177 hotel rooms and suites to make yourself feel right at home. The rooms are decorated in Caribbean island décor and come in single king or two queen bed options. Be sure to carve out some time during your trip to enjoy the pool areas at Hawks Cay. In addition to the five pools, there is a private and enclosed saltwater lagoon fed straight from the ocean. There are also some great opportunities for watersports, fishing, and dolphin experiences. Check the resort website’s event calendar to see what’s going on during the dates of your stay.
You can enjoy fresh and delicious seafood at this resort and really taste the true flavors of the islands. Sixty-One Prime offers romantic dining experiences, while you can enjoy feeling your toes in the sand with a lunch at Oasis Cay. Angler and Ale, the Tiki Grill, Hawks Cay Marketplace, and the Coral Grill are other dining options at the resort to check out. This resort is also unique because of its marina and easy access to fishing charters. There’s nothing quite like going fishing in the Florida Keys, especially with friendly captains and guides onboard. You can even pre-order a boxed lunch for your trip out on the water.
