Tennessee is blessed with an absolutely breathtaking outdoor environment and ecosystem. The Great Smoky Mountains, parks, and just gorgeous stretches of woods are best enjoyed when staying for a few days. Hotels are great but often aren’t as connected as campsites. But campsites might be a little bit too primitive. Luckily, there is an abundance of glamping rentals in the grand state of Tennessee. We’ve made a list of our favorites.

Sulfur Ridge: Tennessee's First Luxury Treehouse - Bloomington Springs
Treehouses sure aren’t what they used to be. Elevated 15 feet into the glorious trees of Tennessee, is an absolute dreamy vacation home. Of course, it is heavily tied in with the outdoors, and even a swinging bed hangs below. But there are many modern attributes like a spa-inspired bathroom.

Treehouse Stamish Castle - Copperhill
Your inner child will truly be delighted at the circular haven. One of the most fun parts is crossing over the bridge to reach your sky high dwelling. Everything inside has an artesian touch, all the way down to the gorgeous wooden kitchen counters. Pets will be ecstatic to spend this special time with you.

Smoky Mountains Glamping Dome - Sevierville
Very similar to a tent in many ways, this dome enhances views when camping. Peer outward over the grand mountains, and connect a little bit more with nature, while still having a bathroom and shower nearby. Guests are welcome to bring their sweet pups.

Luxury Glamping Geodesic Dome - Altamont
Many benefits come along with staying in a geodesic dome, with ultimate stargazing being one of them! Wedged on a mountain in Tennessee, the views are spectacular in the day as well. A surprising list of amenities, like a kitchen, bathroom and amazing viewing deck is included.

Renovated Airstream on 40 Park-like Acres - Dickson
Everything we hope to find in an airstream vacation rental is present here. First constructed in the 1980s, the silver beauty has been given a subtle polishing, to make it contemporary, while preserving those key vintage elements. The property is sprawling, so it can feel like you’re a world away, when Nashville is only 45 minutes from the location.

Forest Gully Farms - Santa Fe
Breathe in the smells of cedar when entering your unique hut, that is wedged into the hillside of Tennessee. While simplistic, with beds and basic living space, nothing more is needed to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. From a distance, this little community looks like a hobbit shire.

Tiny Home Cottage Near the Smokies - Sevierville
Sitting in the woods like a fairytale cottage, this little space is incredibly romantic, or just peaceful. Intricate details adorn the exterior, and the overall look flows into the interior. Exposed beams on the ceiling and warm rustic touches throughout are contrasted by lovely fabrics and dainty design.

The Double Bell - Morrison
Being extra roomy and quite comfortable altogether, this double bell tent feels more like a hotel room. But how much better is it that you can step right outside your door into nature? Comfortable beds await inside the simple yet stunning structure. Twinkling lights illuminate the pathway to your private little escape.

Tiny Cabin Tucked Away in Forest with Hot Tub - Newport
It’s tiny, it’s cute, and it’s full of every amenity you could need. And for a small additional cost, guests can access a woodfired sauna, which would be pretty amazing after a few hours of hiking. Surrounding activities are endless.

Camp Grits Solar Yellow Camper - Cosby
We would be lying if we said the name didn’t catch our eye first. But the adorable appeal of this little camper kept us intrigued. The idea is just to disconnect from the world, and enjoy reading a book by lantern light while snuggling up in a vintage environment.

Stargazing Hut, Mossy Forest Glamping - Newport
The simplest little dwellings can be the most majestic at times. Honestly, there’s not a lot to this hut, but that really is the beauty of it. Guests can retreat here, and gaze through the transparent roof to the stars at night. Enjoy the surrounding forest, or a night by the chiminea.

Tiny House on Two Acre Catfish Pond - Jefferson City
Stay right on the water in the tiny fish house! While there may not be a bathroom or shower, there is a freshwater sink, small food prep area with microwave, and snuggly bunkbeds. Being right on the edge of the pond, the abode quite literally lives up to its name.
