Hershey is known as the “sweetest place on Earth”, but while it may be known as a family-friendly destination, it can also be a great getaway for couples too. First, you can let the kid inside out of you out to play at the Hersheypark amusement park and at Hershey’s Chocolate World, where you can learn how chocolate is made and even design your own candy bar. But, then you can take things up a notch and enjoy some adults-only relaxation at the MeltSpa by Hershey, where you can indulge in a Dark Chocolate Body Wrap, a Hershey’s Cocoa Facial or a Hershey’s Cocoa Massage. You can also enjoy some much-needed privacy and romance by staying in one of the Woodside Cottages at the Hotel Hershey that feature large bedrooms and marble bathrooms with rainforest showerheads and relaxing soaking tubs.
The Pocono Mountains are a popular getaway choice for couples because of their romantic resorts. But, you don’t have to spend a fortune to have a good time here. You’ll never have to leave the property for a thing!
Beautiful Bushkill Falls is known as the “Niagara Falls of Pennsylvania.” Although it is also located in the Pocono Mountains, you can choose a quieter, more laid-back getaway by staying at the Bushkill Inn, just 0.25 mile away from the falls, and focus all of your time on enjoying the outdoors. At the park, there’s plenty to do besides seeing the falls themselves, including hiking trails, mining for gemstones, going fishing, taking a paddleboat ride, playing a round of miniature golf, navigating your way through the Bushkill Falls Mining Company Maze and shopping for souvenirs at the gift shop.

Rooms are affordable and include beautiful furnishings, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi, breakfast every morning, cookies and tea each afternoon, and a common seating area with card and board games. Because of its convenient location, you can also walk from the inn to many nearby restaurants, shops and attractions.
