While there are plenty of public beaches, many of the top stretches can be found at the resorts. If you’re looking for a place to stay that brings the opportunity to soak up the sun and the sand right out your door, you can’t beat any of these options.
Hyatt Ziva Cancun
One of the top all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, the Hyatt Ziva Cancun is perfectly situated for beach lovers, surrounded by the sea on three side. It includes two pristine white sandy beaches, with cabanas available for rent. You can spend the day relaxing with a view while enjoying food and drink service, in between swimming in those enticing turquoise waters. The grounds also includes three large infinity pools, a dolphin habitat and a multitude of dining and drinking options. If you’re looking for a romantic adults-only stay, book the Turquoise Tower. It not only offers incredible views but has its own pool, restaurant, and direct access to the luxurious spa where Tower guests enjoy complimentary hydrotherapy services.
Le Blanc Spa Resort
Le Blanc Spa Resort is a luxuriously elegant resort that has more of a South Beach Miami feel complete with a gorgeous white sand beach. Guests can also enjoy extraordinary service that includes butlers who will even unpack your clothes for you. Many rooms have ocean-facing outdoor areas and some come with their own private pools.
The Westin Resort and Spa, Cancun
Located in a quiet area at the end of the Hotel Zone, the Westin’s beach is magnificent, with soft white sands and those pale turquoise waters, plus it’s quieter and less crowded than most too. There are four beautiful pools on the grounds. multiple restaurants and bars, including ocean view options, a kids’ club, luxurious spa and lighted tennis courts. Rooms all come with complimentary bottled water, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. Some include ocean-view balconies. For a kitchenette, book the one-bedroom Royal Beach Club Ambassador Suite.
Paradisus Cancun
Paradisus is a mega-resort with rooms spread over interconnected pyramids, paying homage to the ancient Mayan civilization. It lies on a gorgeous beach with white powdery sands and loungers with palapa umbrellas in the heart of the hotel zone. The turquoise sea is stunning and almost always calm, ideal for swimming, and there’s a huge free-form pool that nearly as large as the length of the resort with a popular swim-up bar at one end. Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun is an adults-only all-inclusive luxury resort with a stretch of spectacular white sands that include private cabanas. There are seven pools on the grounds, while a wealth of activities are on offer from yoga to beach soccer. The Hard Rock Hotel Cancun rock-themed resort isn’t just about rock ‘n roll, although it does offer complimentary loaner guitars, mixing stations, record players, and access to a recording studio. The property sits on a beautiful white sandy beach and also includes infinity pools, whirlpools, and a comprehensive spa. All rooms have private balconies with two-person Jacuzzi tubs while suites include two bedrooms and the Family Suites add an Xbox and a special minibar for the kids. Each suite has two bedrooms while Family Suites add a kids’ minibar and Xbox. Couples who book the Rock Royalty level get access to the adults-only pool on the third floor as well as a complimentary couples’ massage and a personal assistant.
Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun All Inclusive Spa Resort
Grand Fiesta sits on one of the best beaches in Cancun, located in a protected cove with some of the finest white sands and a sea as flat and calm as a pool. It sits just outside the heart of the hotel zone, providing a quieter setting and plenty of amenities. There are two restaurants, two pools, one for the adults that include a pool bar, and one for families with kids. Guests can also relax in the spa which has a hydrotherapy pool and offers both massages and facials.
