This resort is a family-friendly place to stay that is considered to be a hidden gem in the Wisconsin Dells. The resort is about five minutes from other local attractions but on a quiet stretch of Lake Delton shoreline for a little peace and relaxation. On-site, you’ll find two swimming pools, a sandy beach, kids’ splash pad, hot tub, sauna, arcade, and free Wi-Fi. This is also a popular spot for meetings, family reunions, and other events. This is a great resort to stay at if you want to be close to the Dells but also in a quieter place away from all the traffic and noise of tourist crowds.
The Cliffside Resort and Suites is a charming Eastern European-style seaside resort in the Wisconsin Dells that is family-owned and very charming. The resort embraces Polish traditions because of the Tylka family, who moved here from Poland and built the resort adjacent to their home in 1981. There are 42 guest rooms here, most of which have balconies that offer lovely views of the lake. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and other amenities. Meanwhile, the resort has heated outdoor and indoor pools that overlook the lake, a 60-foot water slide, whirlpool and sauna, lakeside picnic areas, a paved walking and biking path, fitness room, common laundry area, and free parking. The Chula Vista Resort is also a great choice in the Wisconsin Dells for families looking for waterpark fun. The accommodations here will suit any travel budget, and different specials and package deals are offered each month. For dining, you can enjoy delicious food at the Wild Canyon Café, Thirsty Buffalo Saloon, Field’s at the Wilderness, and Survivors Bar and Grill. With 444 guest rooms, 40 villas, 76 condos, and 35 cabins onsite, the Wilderness Resort is also home to the Wild Rock Golf Club, indoor bumper boats and go-karts, mini golf, room escape games, a virtual reality experience, and a canopy zip line tour.
The Great Wolf Lodge is a great name to know if you enjoy waterparks, and there’s an excellent facility here in the Wisconsin Dells. This resort has an indoor waterpark and dry land adventures that are kid-friendly and adult-friendly too. The waterpark has nine pools, 13 slides and is 84-degrees year-around. Also included with your stay are kids activities, a fitness center, unlimited Wi-Fi, and story time with character appearances for kids. There’s a luxury spa and also a kids’ spa here, and onsite dining options include the Lodge Wood Fired Grill, Bear Paw Sweets & Eats, and Hungry as a Wolf for pizza.
The Mirror Lake & Tamarack Resort is also a wonderful Wisconsin Dells resort if you’re looking for a vacation condo experience.
