This ultra-chic boutique hotel was designed by Mexico City architect Javier Sanchez. Every room has a view of the iconic Arch, a private balcony, hanging daybed, a freestanding copper tub and a cocktail bar. For the ultimate stay you can book a villa, which includes butler service, private hot tubs, optional plunge pools and afternoon cocktails. The property also boasts outstanding upscale eateries, a full-service spa with hot and cold plunge pools, cabanas along the oceanfront, and a great surfing beach.
Hacienda Beach Club & Residences offers one of the most tranquil spots right on popular Medano Beach, one of the area’s few swimmable stretches, along with jaw-dropping views of Land’s End and the sea. It includes contemporary-style apartments, many of which are privately owned, and while the setting is refined and quiet, it’s easy to reach the livelier parts of town on foot for a night of letting loose. Ideal for couples, including honeymooners, it’s nestled between two scenic bluffs with every one of the casitas and villas offering private terraces and awe-inspiring views of the Sea of Cortez. Some include plunge pools too. There’s a stunning infinity pool, an elegant spa, and a large fitness center, and private candlelit dinners can be enjoyed at beachfront. Cocina del Mar, the main restaurant, is spread across a series of terraces that jut out above the crashing waves, providing memorable dining on Mediterranean-influenced Mexican fare.
Located in a private residential community, this luxury boutique resort is perched on a rugged cliff overlooking the Sea of Cortez, centered around two pools where you can swim with a view of the turquoise water. It’s the perfect place to rest and recharge, with a pool deck, hammocks strung between the palm trees, and a yoga studio that also offers meditation classes. The open-air terrace restaurant serves an outstanding breakfast and lunch, with dinner available upon advanced request — all dishes are home cooked. Chileno Bay Resort & Residences sits along sparkling Chileno Bay on one of the area’s few calm, swimmable beaches. Hotel El Ganzo may be the coolest boutique hotel in Cabo with its artsy concept and wealth of unique amenities, like an onsite recording studio where musicians can enjoy a session and the video is aired later on the hotel’s internal TV channel. It’s located at the high-end development of Puerto Los Cabos, with artists in residence who are free to decorate both the exteriors and interiors as they wish. Guests can enjoy everything from a massive infinity pool and a luxurious spa to rooftop sushi and vodka bars, and upscale restaurants. It even throws in free panga service to reach the nearby beach club along with bicycles for exploring the marina area. Rooms all have stylish décor and most boast terraces with Jacuzzis and views of the Sea of Cortez.
