If you’re in the Altamonte Springs area on, July 3rd, the Red Hot & Boom celebration is a free event hosted by Altamonte Springs and XL 106.7 FM in Crane’s Roost Park. Honoring the birthday of America, it delivers a memorable night of live performances, food vendors, and a spectacular fireworks show. It’s one of the biggest celebrations in Central Florida.
Panama City Beach has multiple nights of patriotic events for you to choose between, from July 2nd to the 4th for the ultimate red, white, and blue celebration. Boasting the largest Fourth of July fireworks display on the Gulf Coast, the event welcomes visitors of all ages. It kicks off with Light Up the Bay on the 2nd by the bay at Papa Joe’s, then on July 3rd Light Up the Gulf, the Annual Beach Bash, and Freedom Rocks are fun family-friendly events. On July 4th, the Star Spangled Spectacular fireworks display is at 9pm at Russell-Fields City Pier and M.B. Miller County Pier.

Typically at 9:15pm, the sky is illuminated with a spectacular fireworks finale show and in the past has been set to a live performance by the Orlando Concert Band.
The best fireworks display on the Forgotten Coast, Downtown Apalachicola puts on an Independence Eve Celebration that includes live music and food trucks. Located in Riverfront Park on Water Street in the downtown area, you can watch live bands perform hits or see the veteran’s tribute. At night, a fireworks show lights up the Apalachicola River.
