Helen, Georgia is located in the North Georgia mountains, which have an antique, natural beauty of their own. In this area, you will find lots of history, orchards, humble restaurants, and even some pretty great places to get some booze. But when going into downtown Helen, guests are greeted with a German-esque themed village, where all the buildings seem to have been transported from another time and country.
Food ranges from hearty bratwurst and sauerkraut to ultra-sweet goodies like candies and piping hot funnel cakes. A river runs through downtown, and people float by in the summer on bright pink neon tubes. Oktoberfest brings multitudes of people in for the celebration, and if you listen closely, you might hear yodeling coming from a distant hill in the mountains.

Lean back and relax, while listening to the tranquil sounds of running water, and don’t forget to look up every now and again to admire the beauty.
Not looking for a cabin exactly? Then maybe this beautiful townhome will give you more of that traditional feel you are looking for. The home is quite neutral, and has many conveniences, such as a well equipped kitchen, and the capability to sleep up to six people. You will be conveniently located right on the Chattahoochee River, where many people come to just gaze upon the water, or they might rent a tube and gently float down the mild rapids. But what we really love about this rental, is that the host has a ton of fun adding cute decorations and touches depending on the season. If it’s Christmas time, you better bet you’re going to leave in a festive mood.
