The property has fun playground equipment on-site to enjoy. Being in the Bar Harbor area, which is close to Acadia National Park, there are plenty of kid-friendly activities to partake in.
Solar Powered Yurt - Rindge, New Hampshire
Wonky, topsy-turvy, cartoon-like – it’s a kid paradise. The yurt was designed back in 1974 and is a timeless storybook retreat for small families. Inside are many modern conveniences, but prepare to feel totally disconnected. This is not like staying in a hotel! And sometimes that is absolutely wonderful.
A Stunning Island Getaway - Saint George, Maine

Guests enjoy visiting the spring-fed lake, which is gorgeous all year round. A berry patch is in the area, just waiting for you to come to gather delicious sweet morsels of goodness. Don’t forget the farmstand!

Formerly belonging to the US Coast Guard, this lighthouse is a dream vacation location for families. So much history resides within the structure, and of course, it is waterfront! Yurt at the Owen Farm - Hopkinton, New Hampshire
So this yurt is not meant for those who want to play video games or really stay connected to the virtual world. The two-level beautifully designed circular structure is the place to come to get away from it all. There is very limited electricity and no running water, so that might be an adjustment. But then again, it may be the most memorable experience ever. Located on a farm, there are plenty of animals to see and observe.
