The new “7 Minutes in Saint Lucia” series on Instagram airs twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. Follow along at @TravelSaintLucia on Instagram, as the videos virtually transport you to sunny Saint Lucia with the sights, tastes and sounds of the island. Enjoy yoga and meditation at the Pitons, tropical cocktail recipes with local rum, and cooking authentic island dishes with local chefs, just to name a few.

“By creating the ‘7 Minutes in Saint Lucia’ social media series, our aim is to virtually share Saint Lucian culture and natural beauty in an authentic way while people stay safe at home, to keep in touch with future visitors and our valued travel agents — hopefully providing a bright spot in their days“, said Dominic Fedee, minister of tourism, in a prepared statement.

Additional highlights from the video series include hiking at Tet Paul Nature Trail, cocoa tea making with a local chef and lessons on wellness benefits of plants from a local herbalist.
