When I lived in Washington, D.C., I hadn’t adopted my dog yet, but I always noticed a lot of fun places to take pets around the city. D.C. is a very dog-friendly place with many dog parks, breweries, and shops that welcome pets. Even the National Mall allows dogs to walk on the grounds! There are also numerous hotels that allow pets if you are just traveling to the city and don’t want to leave your pup behind. Here are some of the best pet-friendly hotels in Washington, D.C., to choose from.
One of the top luxury hotels in Washington D.C., The Dupont Circle welcomes four-legged friends, including dogs and cats, who weigh up to 50 pounds. One pet is allowed per guest room, and there is a $100 pet fee per stay. You can dine in the outdoor patio area with your pet or use the in-room dining service if you don’t feel like going out. There are multiple on-site restaurant and bar options at the hotel. Other amenities at the hotel include a 24-hour fitness center, complimentary Wi-Fi, daily newspapers, and laundry and dry cleaning services for an additional fee.
