If you’re looking for romance and something special for your honeymoon stay, then look no further than the Taj Campton Place. This historic hotel was built over a century ago and is still a prominent city landmark today. It’s a boutique hotel on Stockton Street at Union Square with 110 rooms and suites, plush bathrobes, an amazing restaurant, and a luxurious vibe. Located in the popular Nob Hill neighborhood, the Huntington Hotel is a historic hotel originally built in 1924. Couples who honeymoon here enjoy the fine-dining restaurant, three-level spa, and easy access to everything this exciting neighborhood has to offer. The hotel rooms are decorated in the opulent style of the Singapore Straits Chinese (Peranakan) heritage, and the Big 4 is the onsite restaurant that was established in 1976. The Omni San Francisco is also a romantic place to stay for your honeymoon or really any special occasion. It’s located in the downtown area, right on the cable car line, and near Union Square. The hotel celebrates Florentine Renaissance architecture, Austrian crystal chandeliers, and Italian marble in the lobby. Guests can enjoy a great steakhouse meal at the onsite restaurant, Bob’s Steak & Chop House. There are 362 luxury rooms and suites here, a 1,500-square-foot fitness center, and complimentary Wi-Fi for guests in the lobby and public areas. Couples can also join one of the hotel’s complimentary guided walking tours at 10am on Saturdays to learn about the city’s history, architecture, and legends.
Cavallo Point: The Lodge at the Golden Gate (Prices & Photos)
Cavallo Point is home to the Bay Area’s first national park lodge, offering views that overlook the city, waterways, and Golden Gate Bridge. In addition to the romantic views, the lodge here offers spa treatments, in-room fireplaces, and shuttle service to get to other attractions in the city. Here you can experience the history of the former U.S. Army post of Fort Baker and stay in former officers’ residences.
