One of my favorite parts about traveling in the northeastern U.S. has been discovering how much more there is to the state of New York than just New York City. From the hiking trails to the vineyards, fall foliage drives, and small-town festivals, you can really find some amazing outdoor experiences and fun weekend getaways throughout this region. To take your outdoorsy trip to New York one step further, consider booking overnight glamping accommodations, such as a camper, tent, cabin, or yurt.

The Airstream at June Farms, West Sand Lake
This 1984 Airstream is available for rent on Airbnb and has been renovated for traveling guests. In the winter, plan to access the camper with a 4×4 vehicle. For cooking, there’s a kitchen in the trailer with all the necessities, and the bathroom has a full-size toilet and a neo-angle shower.
