For an oceanfront experience in Maryland, book your stay at the Princess Royale Resort in Ocean City. At this resort, you can stay in an oceanfront or pool-front suite, and some suites even have Jacuzzis for celebrating something special. This is an ideal place to stay for families and groups of friends. The hotel has two-room suites and two or three-bedroom condo units. The larger condos sleep up to 10 people. Schooners, Oceanfront Restaurant & Lounge, the Palm Court Atrium Café, and Café on the Green are the onsite dining options, and the Atrium Bar and Gazebo Bar are open in the summer. There’s an indoor heated pool here, an arcade, two indoor hot tubs, two saunas, a fitness room, and covered parking. You’ll also find 17 golf courses nearby, a day spa onsite, complimentary daily coffee, and more amenities. Princess Royale offers specials and packages for guests for certain holidays, family fun getaways, and seasonal occasions.
You can also head to Maryland’s western shore and stay at the Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort for a fun waterfront experience. This is a hot spot for family vacations, weddings, and corporate retreats. You’ll be near the Chesapeake Bay when you stay here and have access to complimentary Wi-Fi, K-cup coffeemakers, ergonomic desk chairs, complimentary breakfast, and a full-service salon and spa onsite. Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa & Marina has its own spa and marina for your full-service vacation in Maryland. The resort spans 342 acres along the waterfront, and all rooms have sliding glass doors with a full balcony or balconette to let the bay breezes in. Amenities offered at the Hyatt include a pool, fitness center, room service, laundry, and Camp Hyatt for children. There are multiple dining outlets onsite, including Blue Point Provisions. The spa and salon has 13 treatment rooms, there’s an onsite business center, and lots of sports and games are available for guests to play. It’s also a dog-friendly resort that imposes no weight limit, allows up to two dogs, and includes dog amenities as part of its one-time fee.
The Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center is a Marriott hotel on the shores of the Potomac River. You’ll be near Capital Wheel and the MGM Harbor when you stay here. There are multiple onsite restaurants, a full-service spa, ICE! Attraction in the winter, and a rooftop bar that offers lovely views of the harbor. For special events, there are 94 event rooms to use. Guests can use the onsite fitness center, indoor pool, and whirlpool.
If you’re looking for a luxury stay in Baltimore, the Four Seasons is a wonderful resort with a five-star spa, rooftop pool, and near the walkable waterfront. It is ideal for a romantic getaway, business stay, or family vacation. The Four Seasons offers a great 24-hour gym to stay in shape, an outdoor spa tub and reflecting pool, poolside restaurant and bar, and jogging maps with towels and bottled water provided. When you stay here, you can book a luxury yacht charter or helicopter tour. Pet sitting and babysitting are available for traveling dogs and kids, and car services are offered within three miles of the hotel.
Stay at Francis Scott Key Family Resort to be within a mile from the beach and boardwalk and right by outlet mall shopping. This is a family-friendly getaway on Route 50 that has rooms for up to six guests. In addition to hotel rooms, you can also book a vacation home for weekly stays. Shipwreck Cove is the outdoor pool with a Caribbean theme, while the Caribbean Key Indoor Pool is always 84 degrees. There are also multiple restaurants and bars here.
Hilton Suites Ocean City Oceanfront lets you enjoy the 10 miles of white sand beach in the heart of Ocean City. Here you’ll be close to the OC Boardwalk and access two oceanfront outdoor pools, an indoor heated pool, and fitness center. The renovated suites have kitchens, private balconies, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Turf Valley Resort & Spa is a Central Maryland resort that’s great for a golf vacation, spa day, and relaxing by the pool. Alexandra’s is an American fusion restaurant here run by Chef Brandon Wean. Centrally situated between Baltimore and Washington, D.C., this is an easy getaway destination.
The last Maryland resort we’ll mention here is the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau, which offers indoor and outdoor pools, free Wi-Fi, a night club, oceanfront restaurant, and the largest conference center in Ocean City.
