Escape the traffic of Augusta during the Masters, and choose to stay in Aiken, South Carolina instead, which is only a 35-minute drive away. This upscale lodging option only has 34 rooms, so you’ll want to book far in advance to snag a room here during the Masters. Another city outside of Augusta that is popular among Masters attendees is Columbia, South Carolina.
