Of all the Caribbean island destinations that are popular among world travelers, Barbados stands out for its party scene, local hospitality, secret beaches, and delicious cuisine. Like many Caribbean destinations, many tourists opt for all-inclusive options to take the planning, guesswork, and hassles out of their trips. Going all-inclusive is a great way to indulge on your vacation without guilt or over-thinking how little costs add up. So, if Barbados is on your island bucket list (and it should be!), here are nine resorts to choose from for your stay.
The SoCo Hotel
If you travel to Hastings in Christ Church Parish, you’ll find a great all-inclusive boutique hotel called the SoCo Hotel. This destination is just east of Bridgetown and offers 24 rooms for guests. Although there aren’t expansive watersport options here like there are in some Barbados all-inclusive resorts, this spot is nice for relaxing on the beach and embracing the simplicity of vacation. There’s a restaurant on site, a small pool, and a stylish lobby. Wedding packages are also offered here if you’re looking to tie the knot in paradise.
Turtle Beach by Elegant Hotels
For an upscale all-inclusive option in Barbados, choose the highly-rated Turtle Beach resort by Dover Beach and the St. Lawrence Gap. This is a wonderful all-inclusive option for families, with room rates starting from $429. The resort offers complimentary non-motorized water sports, a kids’ club, island tours, and culinary tours. All of your meals and beverages, fitness center and workout classes, beach and pool services, Wi-Fi, and golf are included at the resort as well. Come here to get active on the water with boogie boarding, sailing, kayaking, and snorkeling with your family.
Mango Bay All Inclusive
Located in Western Barbados, Mango Bay has 76 rooms and is close to the restaurants and shops of Holetown. Here you can take advantage of all-inclusive options with drinks, the indoor/outdoor restaurant, watersport activities, and nightly entertainment. The water just on the other side of the beach is calm and great for swimming. Meanwhile, snorkeling excursions, kayaking, hobiecat sailing, pedal boating, water skiing, and catamaran rides are included with your all-inclusive stay so that you’ll never get bored on your island vacation. All meals are served at the Julian Restaurant, as well as unlimited drinks at the bar and live music nightly from 8-10:30pm.
The Crane Resort
The Crane Resort is a well-established all-inclusive option in Barbados with 252 rooms, five restaurants and bars, and five pools. This is one of the largest all-inclusive options in the Caribbean with lots of amenities across the sprawling property. The rooms have balconies and patios, the beach is spacious, there’s a watersports provider on site, and even a kids’ club to keep the little ones entertained. This is a family-friendly all-inclusive option that also has a spa and fitness center. Honeymoon packages and seasonal deals are offered as well if you’re celebrating something special.
Bougainvillea Barbados
The Bougainvillea Barbados resort has a nice all-inclusive stay option as well to help you fully enjoy your island vacation. This package includes a buffet breakfast, two-course lunch, afternoon tea, and a three-course dinner at the Calabash Café or the Siam Bar & Restaurant. It also includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (including premium brands), a kids’ club for little ones age four to 11, and kids three and under stay and eat for free. However, motorized water sports, spa and salon services, babysitting services, and shuttle services are not offered as part of the all-inclusive package. For all guests, the spacious suites here have furnished balconies and terraces, cookware and glassware, full or mini kitchens, bathrobes, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Waves Hotel & Spa
Head over to Saint James Parish in Barbados to experience the wonderful rooms and amenities at Waves Hotel & Spa. This was Barbados’ first all-inclusive mind and wellness boutique hotel and was inspired by tranquility and relaxation. There are three on-site restaurants here and a late-night lounge to help you make the most of your all-inclusive package. Inclusions for every guest include meals and beverages, water taxi rides, Wi-Fi, fitness center classes, spa treatments, and motorized water sports. This is a great resort for both couples and families, and there’s a spa and adults-only pool to visit. Located along Prospect Bay, the hotel’s beach typically feels quiet and private. Come here for a romantic getaway and to feel like you have your own private little piece of paradise.
Sandals Barbados
Sandals is always a good name to know for tropical, all-inclusive vacation, and there’s a great Sandals resort right here in Barbados. Sandals has 280 rooms, and some suites here come with private plunge pools and deep soaking tubs on private balconies. This is a great place to go all-inclusive because there are 11 restaurants, seven bars, three public pools, and a spa. Also included for guests are stocked bars in every room, all tips and taxes, snorkeling with equipment, Wi-Fi, premium spirits, beach volleyball and other games, professional instruction for water sports, and much more. Here you’ll also find the highly coveted Crystal Lagoon swim-up suites along the largest river pool in the Caribbean.
Sugar Bay Barbados
Sugar Bay is another great all-inclusive option in Barbados because it’s tucked away near a quiet grove and lagoon. Here you can spend your days enjoying live music, movie nights, and cocktails in hammocks. There are four restaurants and five bars here to add some variety to your all-inclusive experience. Also included is the swim-up pool bar, non-motorized water sports, free Wi-Fi, child care, and free stays for kids. You’ll only be about 10 minutes from Bridgetown when you stay here.
The Club, Barbados
The Club is an adults-only, all-inclusive hotel that has 158 rooms, a couple restaurants, three freshwater swimming pools, and lots amenities for a reasonable cost. This is a hotel geared towards couples, groups of friends, and families with everyone over the age of 16. Activities available here include the spa, reef fishing, sail boating, kayaking, boat rides, windsurfing, and other water sports. As an adults-only resort, The Club offers a tranquil getaway with no hidden extras.
