Marlborough, New Zealand may be more renowned for its winemaking industry. However, all of the hiking terrains is equally as incredible. Hikes can last just a day, or multiple days—either way, it will give you a taste of the stunning landscapes. Facing toward gently rolling hills of the valley, this off the grid hut is located on a working farm. Enjoy an outdoor soak in the tub, or just grab a bottle of wine from a local winery and watch the sunset.
Also located in Marlborough, the hut is in a little bit different setting. Cozy up in the tiny abode, which sits within the mountains, right on a pristine lake. Melt away the day while soaking in a woodfired hot tub, which is filled with mountain spring water. The interior of the home is relatively simplistic, allowing nature to be front and center.

In a word, Otago, New Zealand is amazing. Snowcapped mountains flow through the land, and if you’re lucky, there may be a penguin or two wandering around in the wild. Live the lake life in this gorgeous cabin that sits higher up in the hills. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and this is just one of those places where one can truly stay disconnected. However, you’ll also be close to Queenstown and all the offerings of the area. So if looking for something that sits in-between nature and civilization, this could be a great option.
