If you’re looking for some family-friendly fall fun in Florida, Scott’s Maze Adventures in Mount Dora is the place to be. Located at Long & Scott Farms, this attraction boasts a differently themed maze every year with new twists and turns, where both kids and adults alike will delight in exploring the farm’s seven-acre corn field.
Located just a short drive from Orlando, Scott’s Maze Adventures has enough entertainment to please the entire family, as you’ll find anything from exciting hay rides pulled by a tractor to a 40 X 67-foot pillow to jump on. Run by the 4th generation of the Scott family, the owners have not only kept its traditional farming practices but have managed to maintain its charming country style atmosphere that is warm and welcoming.
This year the theme is First Responders, and kids of all ages will find something to keep them busy. In addition to the corn maze, you’ll also find an exciting 60-foot Super Slide, a Mist Maze to cool you off, and a playground with tractor tires full of sand.
Wrap up your day of fall fun at Scott’s Country Cafe, where you can choose from a menu of farm-to-table cuisine and a range of daily specials made from fruits and vegetables grown on the farm. At the cafe, you’ll find farm fresh breakfast options in addition to signature sandwiches, and don’t miss a chance to sample their hearty bowl of Zellwood Sweet Corn Chowder, a local favourite.
You can also pick up some locally sourced goods to take home as a souvenir. Scott’s Country Market sells fresh produce like Zellwood Sweet Corn, Kirby Cucumbers and Florida Sweet Onions, in addition to a range of delicious homemade jams and jellies.
