Capt. Hiram’s Sandbar Beach Club is the perfect venue for a summer concert, featuring three bars and two live music stages. Anchored in the sand and surrounded by palm trees, this outdoor tiki-style beach bar is known for attracting legendary reggae bands, and was listed among the top beach bars in Florida by Trips To Discover and Coastal Living Magazine.

But the Bahamian beats won’t be the only thing transporting you to a vacation state of mind. The cool breeze from the river will make you feel like you’re on an island in the Caribbean — not to mention the cold beer and tropical cocktails. The Sandbar has quite a spirited drink menu, so you’re sure to find something tasty to sip on from frozen concoctions or island-themed cocktails like Hurricane Hirams to local craft beers from Pareidolia Brewing Co. Can’t decide? A local favorite is the Voodoo Bucket, made with pineapple, citrus, banana and coconut rums mixed with pineapple, orange and cranberry juices and topped with a dark rum floater — all served in a 32-ounce bucket.
