To accommodate travelers with pets, many of the city’s most prestigious hotels allow dogs for owners who agree to certain rules. Here are some of the best pet-friendly hotels in Manhattan.

Ink48 is one of the most pet-friendly hotels in all of Manhattan because it has no restrictions for the types or sizes of pets. Just sign a waiver at check-in and provide the hotel with your cell phone number so the staff can reach you in case your pet is disturbing other guests while you’re out. Meanwhile, the concierge here can arrange pet sitting and dog walking services for you. For dog walks together, head to Clinton Park about four blocks away.
You can also bring your pup along for a Manhattan adventure when you stay at the ritzy JW Marriott Essex House New York. This stunning hotel allows one pet of 25 pounds or less per room. You’ll need to pay a $150 fee and sign a waiver at check-in.
Not only is the Standard a pet-friendly hotel, but it a hotel that really loves pets and that allows pets to stay for free at all The Standard hotels. Guests here also get free Wi-Fi, 24-hour gym access, overstocked mini-bars, and rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that highlight Hudson River or city views. The Standard is in the Meatpacking District and has a collection of modern rooms, a German beer garden on the ground level, a rooftop discothèque, and rotating art exhibitions at the outdoor plaza.
Bring your dog along to Manhattan with a stay at the W New York Times Square, a Marriott hotel that puts you right in the center of all the action. One pet per room is allowed here. The hotel charges a $100 fee per stay plus a $25 daily charge (plus tax) for guests who bring pets.
The Conrad New York Downtown allows guests to bring their pets of up to 75 pounds to stay with them here in Manhattan. It also offers fun perks for pets, such as dog beds, bowls, and bandanas. Additionally, the Conrad has a pet program with additional amenities. The Conrad is a Lower Manhattan hotel known for its ATRIO Wine Bar & Restaurant, Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar, and spacious two-room suites.
This Wyndham hotel is also pet-friendly and allows up to two pets per guest room. The hotel requires pets to be in crates when the guest is not in the room and also requires a $50 per night cleaning fee per pet. The New Yorker Hotel dates back to 1929 and is an art deco masterpiece that has hosted many famous guests.
You can stay in the Midtown area of Manhattan with your pet at the New York Hilton Midtown if your pet is 75 pounds or under. The Hilton requires a $50 non-refundable deposit for guests staying with pets. Guests here also enjoy the large 8,000-square-foot fitness center, Herb N’ Kitchen concept restaurant with fresh seasonal foods, and being close to top New York City attractions like Broadway and Rockefeller Center.
Pets can stay at the Pierre in Manhattan, which is in the historical district and just steps away from Central Park. This is a good place for very small dogs because pups up to 15 pounds are welcome for no additional fee. The hotel was built in the 1920s and has chic rooms and suites that are relaxing and indulgent.
Bring your pup to this Westin hotel in the Times Square area of Manhattan, which has 45 floors with modern rooms and suites. One pet is allowed per room here with a 40-pound weight limit for dogs. It is important to note that dogs cannot be left in rooms alone at this hotel. From the hotel, you can walk to over 40 theaters, Hudson Yards, and Madison Square Gardens.
The Novotel New York Times Square is a pet-friendly hotel, and travelers should contact the hotel for pet policies and details. Head to the park about three blocks west of the hotel for potty breaks and walks. This vibrant hotel overlooks Times Square and puts you just steps from the Theater District. Central Park is also just about seven blocks away.
For a $150 non-refundable deposit, you can bring your pet of up to 30 pounds to stay with you at the Hilton Garden Inn New York Manhattan Midtown East. Other pet services available for guests include grooming, day spa packages, and training. Guests here enjoy the friendly vibe, 24-hour fitness center, onsite dining, and being close to all the Midtown attractions.
You can bring both dogs and cats to stay with you at the Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown as long as they are under 25 pounds. This top hotel also offers a 75-foot indoor lap pool on the third floor, a full-service spa, and business amenities.
As long as your dog or cat weighs less than 60 pounds, you can bring him or her to the Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park. There is a pet fee per pet and a waiver that needs to be signed by the pet owner. Other onsite amenities include the La Prairie Spa, 24-hour fitness center, Club Lounge with complimentary culinary presentations, and Mercedes house car available at certain times.
