It’s the most affordable option we’ve seen on the show yet – you can rent one bed or four at just $18 per bed a night.
While you’ll just have just a bed in your room (with mosquito netting), it’s incredibly cozy, nestled in a basket, meant to feel like a bamboo woven birdnest.
There are a wealth of amenities that can be accessed on the property, including a restaurant, swimming pool, and a cozy community lounge center. You can choose to disconnect from the outside world and forget about your electronics, but Wi-Fi is included for those who need to stay in touch.

While you’ll want to spend plenty of time relaxing and recharging here, you definitely don’t want to miss the experience of being surrounded by the monkeys and the ridiculously adorable babies in the Sacred Monkey Forest. Here, close encounters are guaranteed, but fair warning: don’t feed them as it’s at your own risk and these little guys are feisty. Not to mention, some of them are actually rather big.
Back to our eco-lodge, as your host notes, the bottom line is that it’s a great place for the adventurer on a budget who also likes to socialize, with plenty of enticing spaces to meet and mingle while also providing easy access to all the Ubud attractions. The bathroom is shared, but it does have hot water and a flush toilet.
While those who need lots of privacy and all the comforts of home may not find it appealing, for the rest of us, it truly is the opportunity to experience authentic Bali while immersed in glorious nature.
