A local author and charter fisherman are the hosts of this wonderfully basic cabin. So if you’re looking for an immersive experience, they can absolutely provide that. Guests will take home complimentary copies of books about the island, and can even arrange boat adventures out onto the water. Inside will meet all of your needs and has an overall welcoming feel.

Charming Menemsha Cottage - Chilmark
Families have enjoyed this quintessential home since the 1950s. The traditional siding is beautifully intact and the interior of the home was fully renovated in 2014. However, all of the charm is still there. The location is excellent, near a delicious deli that serves a solid lobster roll and fish sandwiches.

Private Guest House that Sleeps 4 - West Tisbury
Vacationers will enter through the greenhouse, which in itself is pretty cool. The home has a lovely feel, and is one of the more affordable options on the island. Guests note that they spent as long as two weeks at this home away from home, and that it sits on a farm with a handful of different animals.
