During the warmer months of the year, Lake Travis is especially popular for water sports, including fishing, swimming, paddling, jet-skiing, pontoon boating and even scuba diving, with all sorts of wrecks, forests of sunken pecan trees, walls and grottoes to explore with visibility averaging eight to 10 feet.
