Margaritaville is no longer just a restaurant with killer margaritas, it is the king of all vacations and has an incredible destination in Biloxi, Mississippi. We don’t know that any lazy river on our list is going to be this extreme, as the 450-foot waterway is met with a swim up bar and other luxurious pool features. Did we mention it’s rooftop? This place just keeps getting cooler, with boutique bowling, volcano climbing, and classic Margaritaville suites of course. So ask the bartender to pour you something tall and strong, and get ready to disconnect.
Oasis Resort is a hotel that is also part of Centennial Plaza. However, families might like the more laid-back style of the suites. The parents will have their own sleeping space if opting for a room with a separate kids area, which includes modern bunkbeds. The hotel has access to all of the glorious Centennial Plaza amenities, such as the 3-acre pool paradise, including an infinity pool with zero entry so really little ones can splash around in shallow gentle waters. The food is rumored to be excellent as well.
There’s a sheer elegance that comes along with staying at this hotel, whether you’re here for a business conference or to kick off your honeymoon. The rooms are accented with sleek wood grain flooring, and contemporary furnishings that are no doubt timeless. Featuring a resort-style pool, the recreational area outside is equally as refined, dotted by green foliage and minimalistic accents. The lazy river blends in seamlessly with the surroundings, and it will drift folks through a winding journey of well-manicured landscape.
Did someone say all you can eat lobster and prime rib? Sold! While the food is outstanding and seemingly endless, this place offers much more. When not pleasing your palate, guests can try their luck in the dazzling casino with a wide selection of games, or keep things casual on the wide open golf course. But we absolutely love the pool deck, which features a traditional area for getting in a morning swim, and a weaving lazy river.
While aspects of this hotel certainly seem upscale, the pool area is nothing short of a kid’s paradise! A generously sized lazy river meanders its way through a variation of water slides and action-packed fun play areas that have cool features with lots of color. However, staying within the rooms may feel quite glamorous, so parents will truly feel like they’re on vacation while the kids still get to have tons of excitement. The front of the hotel presents beautifully, and is almost reminiscent of the White House with its fountains and dramatic presentation.
The Golden Moon Hotel and Casino is just one of the hotels that is a part of the Pearl River Resort. It’s unusual exterior presentation is immediately eye-catching, and definitely worthy of any celebration. You will see that glowing moon above, from far far away! Sharing spectacular amenities with two other hotels, the Golden Moon Hotel and Casino gives guests access to a brand new waterpark with slides, sprinkling features, and most definitely a wide, gentle flowing lazy river. Trust us, it is as an amazing as it sounds. Who needs the beach?
The Silver Star Hotel and Casino is also a part of the Pearl River Resort. For guests looking to float their worries away, you’ll have access to the Pearl River Resort’s Geyser Falls Water Theme Park, with a winding lazy river and plenty of fun in the sun for the whole family. Back at the hotel, adults can indulge in the astounding 90,000-square-foot casino, glittering with over 1,200 slot machines and games like blackjack. The Spa at Silver Star offers a range of pampering treatments, from deep tissue massage, to hot stone therapy, and it is the perfect way to add that extra touch of relaxation to your vacation. Rooms are classic, and elegant, while not being overdone.
Dancing Rabbit Inn is a modest, warm and welcoming hotel that is a part of Pearl River Resort. Guests will have access to the phenomenal waterpark, featuring an impressive lazy river, along with memorably delicious restaurants, manicured golfing landscape, and bright and exciting casinos. Some of the more practical aspects also make this a great option, like the workout room, and convenience pantry with quick on the go snacks.
The Golden Nugget in Biloxi features an honorable mention among our list of lazy river hotels. While technically this is not a lazy river, it is a water playground ideal for vacationing grown-ups! Daybeds float out in the middle of the water, which is somewhat of a more luxurious take on the average lazy river. The pool area also includes a beautiful hot tub, and a bar and grill. Cabanas surround the area and serve as a stunning outdoor “hotel room,” so you can spend endless hours out basking in the luxury.
