For those tired of traditional hot cocoa, treat yourself to “Haute Chocolate,” an exquisite drink only found at The Remedy Bar at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences in Vail, Colo. Chocolate lovers can’t help but rave over this rich drink that cures both a sweet tooth and a bad day.

The Remedy Bar is a fabulous upscale lounge featuring a menu with unique sections, like “elixirs,” “potions,” and “antidotes.” With a wide variety of cocktails, beers on tap and even food items, this is a great place to relax after enjoying a day out in Vail. However, the one item that has gained massive attention at The Remedy Bar is the Haute Chocolate.

Created by Executive Pastry Chef Andrew Schweska, this luxurious chocolate drink is made with Swiss chocolate, marshmallow and chantilly creme. The chocolate drink actually arrives in a traditional French hot chocolate pot. The steamed milk and Valrhona chocolate is churned and mixed tableside. And don’t think you can simply pour this chocolate and milk mixture right into a cup. A dark chocolate lattice and homemade marshmallow sits atop the cup, and melts as the rich drink is poured over them.

Now this incredible hot chocolate, made thoughtfully and with incredible ingredients, definitely isn’t a cheap menu item. However, after one sip of this rich and sweet treat, you won’t regret the price tag. Vail may be known for its skiing and stunning landscape, but the Haute Chocolate from The Remedy Bar is one thing you’ll never forget about your stay in this Colorado mountain town.
