Augusta is a beautiful city in Georgia that almost touches into South Carolina, and it sits along the Savannah River, which adds a scenic backdrop to the buildings and homes. A diverse culinary scene continues to blossom, whether it be a killer Philly cheesesteak at a cheap eats joint or a several course meal at one of the finer establishments. Augusta is probably best known for hosting the Master‘s golf tournament, and lots of folks come to visit for that alone. Homewood Suites by Hilton Augusta already catches the eye with its cozy spaces and modern conveniences. Guests love the coffee (it’s the little things), breakfast, and well-equipped kitchenettes with dishes and a dishwasher. Food options are everywhere, from free breakfast, a complimentary light dinner and a convenience store with snacks on the premises. The Riverwalk and Augusta National Golf Course are both relatively nearby.
A top extended stay hotel in Augusta, Candlewood Inn Suites Augusta offers a range of spacious, pet friendly-rooms. The beds are super comfy too, while convenient on-site perks include complimentary laundry services, an on-site convenience center and fitness center. Business travelers can stay connected with fast Wi-Fi in all rooms and an on-site business center.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Augusta is a total breath of fresh air, like the Home2 collection usually is. Colors are always fun and mood-lifting, and the amenities are surprising. For example, the pool here is totally spa-worthy, with a shallow portion to set lounge chairs for an extra cooling effect while sunbathing. And it’s filled with saltwater, not chlorine. Cool additions like a putting green and exercise trail just keep surprising us. Breakfast is also free and buffet style.
Yay – another Homewood Suites! Homewood Suites by Hilton Augusta Gordon Highway has nice rooms with suave kitchens and plenty of great outdoor lounging space including a pool. Breakfast is complete with eggs, sausages and other hot items that could probably satiate until dinner. You can dine at the on-site restaurant. US Army Signal Corps Museum is one of the attractions near this homey extended stay.
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Augusta Fort Gordon Area has rooms with an attractive sharpness to them that is overall pleasant to be within. Kitchenettes include a mini fridge and microwave, while breakfast is hot and served along a buffet line. Need a refresh? There’s laundry facilities on site to add to the ease of staying here. Pendleton King Park is a minimal drive away, as is a list of other sites. The indoor pool space will have the kids beyond excited.
Residence Inn by Marriott Augusta has a very suave look with lots of grey tones, stone and dark wood. The indoor pool is sleek and welcoming, and the hot tub will start calling your name. After a swim or workout at the on-site facilities, chill by the firepit and dream of the complimentary breakfast that will greet you in the morning. Fido can come too and stay in one of the pet-friendly rooms, Just check ahead about the policies and fees.
Staybridge Suites Augusta definitely has the “home” factor going on, with rich woods in the extensive full kitchen, and cozy bedding that is a bit more detailed. The Riverwalk is easily accessed and is a wonderful place to spend an evening. Wake in the morning to breakfast, and burn it all off at the modern fitness center before heading out to explore the city.
Ecco Suites, BW Signature Collection presents many of the same perks as more well-known names, offering a great pick for families with kiddos. Take advantage of the hot breakfast, heated outdoor pool, and outdoor spaces when the weather is pleasant. The fitness room is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in case you are suddenly inspired to get that six-pack.
It’s easy to see why Hyatt House Augusta/Downtown is a top place for an extended stay, as it is gorgeously contemporary. Glossy tiles in the bathrooms, sleek wood floors stretching through the apartments and divided yet somewhat open-concept rooms that blend well together—it’s perfection. Offering a walkable location, there are many restaurants, shops and major sites less than a 15-minute jaunt from the establishment. Don’t miss out on the modern fire pit spaces at night.
