World of Coca-Cola museum in Atlanta

The original World of Coca-Cola opened up in 1990 at Underground Atlanta, but the current attraction has been at Pemberton Place since 2007. It has welcomed over 24 million guests over the years, and the brand itself has a history that dates all the way back to 1886. When you visit the attraction today, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the bottling process and get to see hundreds of Coca-Cola-related artifacts.

Pop Culture Gallery at World of Coca-Cola

There are quite a few exhibits to see here, so plan to spend about two hours exploring the World of Coca-Cola. For example, The Loft is home to historical and current artifacts, a six-minute film plays regularly at the Coca-Cola Theater, you can learn about the legend of the secret formula for Coca-Cola at The Vault, and the Pop Culture Gallery highlights how fans have made this brand so iconic. Don’t miss getting your photo taken with the famous Coca-Cola polar bear, experience the multi-sensory movie about an eccentric scientist at the 4-D Theater, and take your taste buds around the world at the Coca-Cola Tasting Area.

While you may be familiar with some of the beverages here, this is a great opportunity to try lesser-known varieties from Africa, Latin America Europe, and Asia too. Some favorites among curious tasters include Inca Kola, Fanta Melon Frosty, and Bibo Candy Pine-Nut. There’s also a Coca-Cola Store here where you can stock up on souvenirs, art pieces, and all kinds of merchandise.

General admission for adults ages 13 to 64 is $17, with discounts for youth and seniors. You can also book a VIP guided tour to experience more soda-loving goodness. This must-see Atlanta spot is open every day of the year except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. You can park in the World of Coca-Cola parking garage for up to four hours for $10 or take the MARTA train to either Peachtree Center or the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center to get here. You can also hop off the Atlanta Streetcar at the Centennial Olympic Park stop to visit World of Coca-Cola.
