Concord Mills Mall, located in Concord, North Carolina, is not your average, run-of-the-mill mall. At a whopping 1.4 million square feet, it’s like a miniature town all by itself. In fact, the interior is divided up into numbered “neighborhoods” to help shoppers easily identify the location of stores and remember where they parked and entered.
Even though the mall features more than 200 stores, including both outlet stores and regular retail shops, there is much more to do here than shop. And the new “Family Fun Ticket” gives visitors an easy and affordable way to check it all out. The special ticket, which includes entrance into three of the mall’s main attractions helps families save 25% when they purchase it for $45, as opposed to the $60 they would spend if they bought admissions to each attraction individually.
SEA-LIFE Charlotte-Concord Aquarium
The first of the three attractions included in the ticket is SEA-LIFE, a full-scale indoor aquarium that is located within the mall. With more than 20 different exhibits to explore, you can see thousands of creatures up close in ocean environments and interactive touch pools, as well as the 180-degree Ocean Tunnel where you’ll go over, under and around some of the ocean’s most beautiful inhabitants. You can also listen to educational presentations from marine life experts and watch a creature feeding show.
Dave & Buster's
Dave & Buster’s is the ultimate fun destination for both kids and adults who want to feel like a kid again. This massive entertainment center has everything you need under one roof – a full-service restaurant, a bowling alley, billiard tables and a large video arcade with classic games, new games, skeeball, air hockey, basketball and more. Make sure you collect all your tickets as you go and trade them at the shop before you leave to take home a unique souvenir.
The Speedpark
As a nod to the surrounding NASCAR community, The Speedpark at Concord Mills offers all kinds of racing entertainment including four go-kart tracks and monster truck rides, as well as miniature golf, bungee jumping, a game room, ice skating, a giant spider web for climbing and a 110-foot fun slide.
The Family Fun Ticket will be available all summer, from June 1st to August 31st and can be purchased at any of the three attractions. The tickets must be used within 30 days though, so don’t forget!
