The Park on Main Hotel - Highlands
The Park on Main, an upscale rustic hotel located appropriately on Main Street in Highlands, offers luxury suites with large beds, separate living areas, large bathrooms, and views of the hotel’s garden area. The hotel’s mascot, a black Scottish terrier named Mr. Pickles, greats the guests and lets them know it’s a pet-friendly establishment from the moment they walk in. Your furry friend will also find more goodies for him or her in the room – a Mackenzie-Childs dog bowl and a comfy Orvis dog bed.

The Fearrington House Inn - Pittsboro
Located just down the street from UNC-Chapel Hill, lies Fearrington Village, a former dairy farm that is now home to a plethora of shops, restaurants, spas and The Fearrington House Inn. Offering both modern amenities and the charms of a southern farm, the hotel’s thirty-two guest rooms are decorated with antique furniture and luxury linens and offer views of the garden and pastures just outside. In addition to luxurious guest rooms, a 24-hour concierge service, a full-service bar and restaurant, and live nightly entertainment, the hotel also offers a special enclosed playground area for your furry friends called DogWoods. They also offer water bowls, dog beds, treats, and complimentary tennis balls with a flat pet fee of $200.

The Westin - Charlotte
Located right in the middle of uptown Charlotte, The Westin Hotel offers spacious guest rooms and health-centered amenities like an indoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, customized running routes, loaner workout gear, an Eat Well menu in the on-site restaurant, and even fresh honey made from bees that are housed on the hotel’s third-floor rooftop.
