Meriton Suites is a good name to know if you’re planning a trip to Australia. The Kent Street suites are right in the heart of the city, and each of the 430 suites here include a full kitchen, luxury bathroom, and internal laundry facilities. Come to stay here if you are traveling with your family or plan to stay a while, because the Kent Street suites are about three times as big as a standard hotel room. Some of the suites also have two or three bedrooms for extra privacy when you’re traveling with family or friends. And the penthouse suites accommodate up to six guests. It stands 56 stories high and has an indoor pool, spa, steam room, sauna, and fitness center onsite. When you stay here, you’ll be close to many of the city’s top attractions, including Circular Quay and the Royal Botanical Gardens.

It’s located in the Kensington Street precinct, and no two rooms are alike. There are seven suite styles, and the Clare Bar, which adjoins the hotel, is a fun place to eat, drink, and dance. The hotel also has a rooftop pool that is open to hotel guests, a 24-hour gym, and bicycle rentals here. In-room massage and babysitting services are offered as well. Foodies should make sure to stop by Automata, which offers a five-course menu for dinner and a three-course menu for lunch designed by Chef Clayton Wells.

Today, guests stay here to be close to top performances and do business near Wynyard Station. There’s an onsite spa at the Radisson Blu, as well a free Wi-Fi, and the Fax Bar off the hotel lobby. Guests can use the 15-meter indoor pool and sauna, have breakfast in the Lady Fairfax Room, and then have dinner in the Bentley Restaurant & Bar. This is a highly recommended restaurant in Sydney, even if you don’t stay at the hotel.
