This ski resort is located on the San Francisco Peaks, which stand tall at 9,500 feet above sea level. It’s only about 14 miles from Flagstaff and a couple hours from Phoenix. In the winter snow sport season, regular lift ticket rates range from $44 to $79 for an all-day pass (9am to 4pm) and from $39 to $59 for an afternoon pass, depending on your age. Powder Pass season passes to the Arizona Snowbowl actually include access to six resorts in Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico.

Something else that travelers to Arizona may not realize is that the Arizona Snowbowl makes a really fun summertime destination too. Once all the snow has melted away, you can stop by to go summer tubing, bungee trampolining, barrel rolling, treasure panning, or try the new mini ropes course adventure. It’s also fun to take a scenic chair lift ride in the summer to see the surrounding landscapes. On a clear day, you can see the Grand Canyon and Sedona’s iconic red rock formations!

Although the Arizona Snowbowl certainly isn’t the largest ski resort in the country, it’s a really fun, laid-back, and accessible one for Arizona locals and travelers who are visiting the Flagstaff area. The Snowbowl is a popular spot for weddings and has everything you need to make lasting mountain memories. Grab your ski boots or your hiking boots and head to the Snowbowl to get outside in the mountains of Northern Arizona!
